Course Description
This beginner-level Arabic course is designed for learners with little or no prior knowledge of the language. Over 8 interactive hours, participants will be introduced to essential vocabulary, sentence structure, and everyday conversational phrases. The course incorporates engaging activities, listening exercises, and speaking practice to help participants build confidence in using Arabic for simple real-life interactions. While basic recognition of the Arabic script will be introduced, the focus will be on developing communication skills. In addition to everyday language, the course will include common conversational phrases used in school and professional settings when interacting with parents, students, colleagues, and visitors.
Learning Outcomes
- Use common Arabic greetings and introduce themselves and others.
- Ask and answer simple questions about personal and professional information.
- Construct basic present-tense sentences using subject-verb-object structure.
- Recognize and use 50–100 essential vocabulary words on everyday topics.
- Practice conversational Arabic in common school and office interactions.
